IT Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

• IT Support & System Administration: Be the first point of contact for technical issues; troubleshoot hardware, software and network problems. Manage support tickets and prioritise requests. Assist staff with systems, logins and tools. Administer user accounts, permissions and cloud environments, particularly Microsoft 365, including onboarding and offboarding.
• Hardware & Infrastructure: Manage IT asset inventory, maintain equipment and monitor network performance (Wi-Fi and LAN) to ensure optimal connectivity.
• Security & Data Management: Enforce basic cybersecurity controls (antivirus and firewalls), monitor suspicious activity, and conduct regular data backups and recovery testing.
• Vendor & Documentation Coordination: Liaise with external IT service providers to resolve complex issues and manage contracts. Maintain accurate IT procedures, guides and documentation.
• Project Support & User Education: Assist with IT system upgrades and migrations. Educate staff on security best practices and promote efficient use of technology across the business.

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer technology or a similar field.
• At least two years’ experience as an IT coordinator or in a related role.
• Hands-on experience with M365 Admin Center, Exchange Admin Center and Microsoft Entra ID. Good understanding of M365 cloud security controls (MFA and basic Intune policies).
• Solid knowledge of LAN/WAN configurations.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with technical and nontechnical personnel.
• Proficient computer skills.
